I brought home a little slide tonight I found on craigslist and Boedy took to it like a fish to water. We could barely haul him away from it for dinner! It should be interesting when I introduce him to the big car that came with it tomorrow.

Our new dog got out last night so we decided to pen him into the front yard. As you can imagine, he got out again and we havn't seen him since.

I thought I better put together some meals for my boys before I leave for Ontario. Fingers crossed that B likes these crispy salmon balls!

Newport Village Summer Festival

We went over to Newport Village this afternoon to check out Summer Fest, an annual event held in Port Moody. There was live music, arts, crafts, face painting, food from local merchants, etc. It was lots of fun. Boedy enjoyed dancing to the music and playing with this red wagon. Luckily, our new friends didn't mind sharing. Ha!

Check out our big boy's new room!

We moved Boedy's bedroom to the bigger room today because he was quickly outgrowing his small room. There's enough space in the bigger room for the glider and a play area. Awesome!

B had his shots today and we found out that he weighs 29 lbs and is 31 inches tall. He's wearing mostly size 2 everything and is fitting size 6.5 shoes. We're going through shoes like water! I've got size 7s ready to go. We have to buy two sizes of everything (indoor and outdoor shoes for daycare). It ain't cheap!

With Jessica headed out to Queens in a few weeks I decided to practice doing boy stuff all day today with Boedy. Not bad results by noon I'd say!

We'll see if we can even it out on the other side by dinner time.

First day of daycare transition was a success!

Boedy made out great at daycare this morning. Here he is playing with a phone and a ball. He stayed for 45 minutes today. Tomorrow, he'll do snack there and stay a bit longer and on Thursday he'll take his first nap there. He waved bye to Tania and I when we dropped him off. Clearly, much harder on us than him. Tania even had a tear in her eye. Aww, sure wish we could keep her but she's off to Ryerson in a few weeks to start a degree in journalism. We will all miss her very much.
