Saturday Outing: Maplewood Farm

My cousin, Nicole, invited Boedy and I to meet her and her daughter at Maplewood Farm in North Vancouver on Saturday. We got to pet some bunnies and saw ducks, chickens, sheep, goats, horses, cows, a parrot, and a pig. What fun we had!

Brad worked hard on his thesis all weekend. He completed his survey and it's now ready for distribution. Big milestone! Once he gets the results back, he will be able to finish writing his paper. WE CAN SEE THE LIGHT, YAY!

B loved the kid size peddle tractors. When we got home, he kept bringing me his tractor book to read to him.

L loved them too. She enjoyed showing B around. She's going to make a fabulous big sister really soon (Nicole's due with baby #2 on Sept. 20 and is hoping that she doesn't have a boy as active as B....haha...now you know how I stay fit).

Banging on signs (and anything that will make a noise) is always fun. Look how big B's hands are compared to L's. She'll be two in October.

B's first time petting /drumming a goat. Haha!

L teaching B to crouch in the tunnel.

Awwww, cousin love!

We had so much fun. Let's go home for lunch!

  1. So cute to see the two cousins together. L looks just like her Grandma Ruth in these pics. Good memories. Love Mom xo
