37 Weeks ... plus 4

We're in the final countdown these days and nothing could be more exciting.

Big daddy started a new job with BC Hydro last Monday so now that he's got some sea legs under him, bring on the next little challenge.

We've got the room ready, mom's got a new cell phone to let me know she's in labour, we know the way to the hospital through construction, we've got all the stuff we think we need (we think), we've got a camera ready to go, we just found out about mom and baby movies at the theatre, we've got dairy queen on the emergency line for backup blizzards, we've got the car seat installed, and re-installed....and taken out and reinstalled again, we've washed and rewashed all the new baby stuff, then folded and refolded then re-rinsed and refolded the crib sheets and washclothes and hooded towels and the onesies and twosies and the "how the hell do you fold these", the hospital bag is packed, and repacked, a cooler full of stuff ready to go for the birthing room (beer has been snuck in and taken out), date nights/afternoons/mornings have been taken care of before we becomes three, Jess has a freakin prenatal pedicure booked for this week (because we all know how important good looking toes are during the transition phase of labour), Roary the Lion has been keeping night watch but has been demanding danger pay for the future off gasing of the diaper pail....just have to settle on a name for this little man. Sir Hecules Einstien Hulsman Esquire just isn't cutting it with mom.
