For several years now, I've been wanting to learn how to knit because I knew that one day we'd have a little baby that I would want to create all kinds of wonderful things for. I have also always thought that knitting would be a great winter hobby. Seeing as the baby's here and winter's approaching, I decided to finally sign myself up for beginner knitting lessons. There's a cute little yarn store in Port Moody called Black Sheep Yarns, http://www.blacksheepyarns.ca/, that offers lessons for all levels so that's were I'll be for the next few Tuesdays. My first project will be a baby hat. If it goes well, I plan on knitting baby hats for all of our backyardigan friends for Christmas.
