Monitor & Mojito Block Party + Surprise Getaway {to Whislter}

Nothing like a block party to get the weekend started! We gathered with five other couples plus one single guy (poor guy...not cause he's single...hahaha...but because he had to listen to us talk about babies all night) in our neighbours' garage on Friday night. What fun! We laughed so hard that we kept the neighbours that weren't there up. Ooopsy! Looking forward to doing it all again this weekend!
Whistler, here we come! Early Saturday morning, Brad, Boedy and I went road trippin' to Whistler (I surprised Brad with this little getaway about a week ago). We always have so much fun when we visit Whistler and we've been talking about taking Boedy since he was born. Wow, the weekend did not disappoint...we took Boedy swimming in the indoor/outdoor pool, walked around the Village and stopped at all our favourite little spots, had our first lunch out with little B, had a romantic dinner by ourselves (sooooo nice), listened to some live music, people watched, enjoyed some incredible wine, and relaxed in our cozy room while enjoying the view of the mountain. It was fabulous. We want to go back...again, and again, and again. On the drive home, Brad said, "next time you plan a surprise weekend getaway to Whistler...can you make it a week?". We had a wicked time...just the three of us! Oh, and B-man was a superstar traveller and seemed to love seeing the sights just as much as we did.
Friday - Baby Monitors & Mojito/Merlot/Moosehead (you get the idea) Garage Party

Saturday - On our way to Whistler

"Mommy, I can't wait until we can turn this seat around!"

"Come on, let's go, let's go, let's go!"

"I like the view!"

"Ooooooooooo, I'd like to practice my frog kicks in that pool"

"Let's go have some fun!"

On our way to the Village for lunch...

First time eating out with Boedy was so much fun! He enjoyed some pears and blueberries while we had burgers and Guinness.

Blackcomb - preferred ski hill by the locals

Almost night, night time!

Counting down the minutes until the babysitter arrives...

Valentine's Dinner @ La Rua - Unpretentious fine dinning at it's best!

Nighttime strollin'
Breakfast time for little B

Breakfast time for mom & dad...

...Nap time for Boedy

One year later to the day, pretty awesome!

Strollin' through the Village on Sunday morning...

A feed and a change in front of the fire, not too shabby!

Picked up some new duds for the lil' man at one of our favorite baby clothing stores.
